We are a Community Learning Centre providing facilities for training and community activities.

Welcome, my name is Catherine Herd and I am the Centre Manager here at Kingmoor Community & Business Centre.

We opened in September 1999, by offering our first IT course using our purpose built computer suite. Since then, we have continued to develop our range of provision for the local community.

We now offer a variety of courses ranging from basic computer sessions to advanced level courses.

Our Centre offers full disabled access, hearing loop and large screen monitor and large key keyboard, should you require them

We have a diverse menu of courses ranging from belly dancing, Italian, Spanish, art classes, first aid, garden design, reading groups and many more. 

Our centre can also be hired for meetings and training purposes. Local groups such as the Women's Institute, Lowry Hill/Newfield Residents Association use our facilities. Please see our website for further information regarding courses.

We have taken charge of many successful events for the local community.  We were recently involved in acquiring an Emergency Defibrillator for the local area.

We are looking forward to meeting everyone and working with you in the coming year.
